Bentley Mulliner has revealed the Nicolaus Copernicus Collection, a three-car set of bespoke Continental models themed around the Sun, Earth and Moon. Commissioned by Bentley Warsaw and unveiled on September 21, 2026, the collection honors Polish astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus and his model of a solar system centered on the Sun.

The trio consists of two Continental GT S coupes and one Continental GTC S convertible. Although each car receives its own exterior, interior and material treatment, all three retain the same plug-in hybrid powertrain and core hardware.

Three Continentals, three celestial themes

Bentley ties the cars together with the Copernicus Compass, an eight-planet orbital graphic depicting Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Mulliner applies the design through embroidery and embossing on the center console, quilting panels and welcome lamps. On the convertible, the graphic also appears on the tonneau cover.

The Sun-themed Continental uses Manuka Orange paint, an orange primary hide and Gravity Grey secondary leather. Copper Stone veneer replaces more conventional wood or carbon-fiber trim on the dashboard and door waistrails, while orange stitching and carpet binding continue the theme inside.

Earth wears a bespoke Nebula Blue exterior with Imperial Blue and Aegean Blue leather. Its cabin combines Galaxy Stone veneer with silver contrast stitching and a satin-painted Imperial Blue center console.

The Moon car is finished in bespoke Moonstruck silver, a color Bentley says is intended to recall the surface of Earth's natural satellite. Beluga leather forms the darker foundation of its cabin, with Ice leather used across the seats, center console, dashboard and door inlays.

671-hp plug-in hybrid powertrain

Despite their individualized styling, the three Continentals use Bentley's twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 gasoline plug-in hybrid. The system produces 671 horsepower.

Each car also rides on 22-inch ten-spoke gloss-black wheels and uses carbon-ceramic brakes. Bentley has not announced any additional performance changes for the Copernicus Collection, keeping the focus on Mulliner's materials, finishes and craftsmanship rather than mechanical upgrades.

A retailer-led Mulliner commission

The project began when Bentley Warsaw requested a matched set from Mulliner. Richard Leopold, Bentley's regional director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, described the commission as an example of what can result when Mulliner works closely with a retailer familiar with its local customers.

Genuine stone veneers are a defining feature of the collection. Copper Stone appears in the Sun car, while Galaxy Stone is used for Earth. The approach follows other recent Mulliner commissions, including an 80th-anniversary Continental GTC created to celebrate Bentley's Crewe heritage.

As individually commissioned one-off cars, the three Continentals showcase the scope of Bentley's bespoke division rather than introduce a new production trim or performance package. Their shared powertrain and chassis keep them connected to the standard Continental range, while their celestial themes give each car a distinct identity.
