The 2027 Lexus LX enters the new model year with subtle styling changes, more standard equipment and modest price increases across its range. The Premium, Overtrail and F Sport Handling variants receive the most notable updates, while the Luxury and Ultra Luxury trims carry over their extensive equipment lists.

The fourth-generation LX debuted for 2022 and remains closely related to the full-size 300-series Land Cruiser. Lexus continues to position it as a flagship luxury SUV with serious off-road hardware beneath its distinctive spindle grille.

What’s new for the 2027 Lexus LX

Premium models now receive darker 20-inch wheels and a digital rearview mirror as standard equipment. Buyers can also choose a new Palomino interior color, adding another cabin finish to the LX range.

The F Sport gains red brake calipers at both the front and rear, giving the sport-themed model a more distinctive visual signature. One-touch auto-arrange power-folding rear seats are now standard on both the F Sport and Overtrail grades.

That seat feature remains optional on the Premium. Lexus includes it in the trim’s Interior Upgrade package rather than offering it as a standalone option.

The top-end LX 700h Ultra Luxury rises by $300 and starts at $143,350. It turns the LX into a four-seat luxury flagship with rear-seat controls for the audio, climate and lighting systems, plus rear entertainment displays. The seats also use soft urethane dampers intended to improve ride comfort.

LX 700h Overtrail keeps its off-road focus

For buyers who want the most capability from the lineup, the LX 700h Overtrail retains its rugged equipment package. It uses 33-inch tires, Multi-Terrain Select, Multi-Terrain Monitor, Crawl Control with turn assist and standard front and rear locking differentials.

The hybrid powertrain produces 457 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque. Those figures give the Overtrail the muscle expected of a full-size luxury SUV, while its Land Cruiser connection provides the foundation for its off-road systems.

The 2027 changes do not reinvent the LX. Instead, Lexus adds convenience features and visual differentiation while preserving the model’s combination of luxury, size and trail-focused hardware.
