Nissan has released pricing for the combustion-powered 2027 Rogue, and the compact SUV costs more across every trim. The front-wheel-drive Rogue S starts at $31,265, including a $1,575 destination charge, which is $230 higher than the outgoing model.

The gas-powered Rogue carries over for 2027 alongside Nissan’s all-new Rogue Hybrid. While the hybrid adds another powertrain choice, the standard Rogue remains the lower-cost entry point for customers seeking Nissan’s best-selling SUV.

2027 Nissan Rogue pricing

Nissan’s price increases vary by trim. The Rogue S and SV each rise by $230, while the Dark Armor increases by the same amount. The Rock Creek sees the largest jump at $580, and the Platinum increases by $430. Every figure includes destination.

Engine and fuel economy

The 2027 Rogue retains Nissan’s 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine, which produces 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque. It continues to use Nissan’s Xtronic continuously variable transmission, but Nissan says the transmission receives new tuning for “crisper throttle response” and a smoother, more linear acceleration profile.

Fuel economy remains rated at 28 miles per gallon city, 33 mpg highway, and 30 mpg combined. Aside from the transmission tuning, the rest of the Rogue carries over from the current model.

How the Rogue compares on price

Despite the increase, Nissan says the 2027 Rogue remains less expensive than several competing compact SUVs. The 2027 Honda CR-V starts at $33,070, while the 2026 Toyota RAV4 starts at $33,495. The 2026 Mazda CX-5 starts at $31,585, and the 2026 Hyundai Tucson starts at $31,350; those two models are expected to receive higher prices for 2027.

Two competitors undercut the Rogue. The 2027 Kia Sportage starts at $30,485 with destination, while the 2027 Chevrolet Equinox starts at $30,995. That leaves the Rogue positioned above those two models but below the CR-V, RAV4, CX-5, and Tucson on the supplied pricing.

Availability

Nissan has not changed the gas-powered Rogue’s basic lineup for 2027. The carryover model will sit alongside the new Rogue Hybrid, while Nissan is also planning a future combustion version with styling more closely aligned with the new hybrid. Until that model arrives, the current gas Rogue remains the lower-priced non-hybrid option in Nissan’s compact SUV range.
