GMC has announced pricing and power figures for the redesigned 2027 Sierra 1500. Four-wheel-drive crew-cab models start at $51,295 including the destination charge, while the range-topping Denali Ultimate reaches $87,895. GMC says the first trucks will begin arriving at dealers by the end of the year.

The 2027 Sierra 1500 brings an all-new exterior and interior design, along with revised engine options. GMC has also reshaped the lineup by dropping the SLE and SLT trims and offering six four-wheel-drive crew-cab versions at launch.

2027 GMC Sierra 1500 prices and trims

GMC has released pricing for its four-wheel-drive crew-cab configurations, but it has not yet provided a full breakdown for every cab and bed combination. The announced prices are:

  • Sierra 1500 Pro: $51,295
  • Sierra 1500 Elevation: $59,995
  • Sierra 1500 AT4: $73,495
  • Sierra 1500 Denali: $76,795
  • Sierra 1500 AT4X: $85,495
  • Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate: $87,895

The Pro and Elevation come standard with GMC's enhanced 2.7-liter TurboMax four-cylinder. The engine receives new turbochargers, an upgraded fuel-injection system, and redesigned pistons for the 2027 model year.

More power from the TurboMax and new V8 engines

The updated TurboMax produces 350 horsepower and 455 pound-feet of torque, increases of 40 horsepower and 25 pound-feet compared with the previous figures. The 2.7-liter engine is optional on the AT4 and Denali trims.

GMC is also introducing two new V8 engines for the Sierra 1500. A 5.7-liter small-block V8 is standard in the AT4 and Denali, where it makes 402 horsepower and 428 pound-feet of torque. GMC says the engine can tow up to 13,500 pounds. It is available as an option on the Pro and Elevation.

The new 6.6-liter V8 produces 481 horsepower and 501 pound-feet of torque. It comes standard in the Denali Ultimate and is optional on the AT4X.

Diesel availability and launch timing

The 3.0-liter Duramax turbo-diesel inline-six remains available, producing 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque. It is standard on the AT4X and optional on the Elevation, AT4, Denali, and Denali Ultimate.

GMC says the 2027 Sierra 1500 will begin reaching dealers by the end of the year. Pricing for other cab and bed configurations will follow as production expands and those versions become available. Until then, the announced figures apply to the four-wheel-drive crew-cab lineup.
