Massimo has launched the Mini Truck, a two-seat off-road go-kart styled like a shrunken vintage pickup. Based on the company’s Mini 125 platform, the recreational vehicle costs $2,999 and is expected to reach Tractor Supply for the 2026 holiday season.

The Mini Truck is not street legal and is not intended to replace a registered vehicle. Massimo positions it for recreational use on private property and trails, with the company specifying that riders should be 16 or older.

Powertrain and off-road hardware

Motivation comes from a single-cylinder, air-cooled 125cc four-stroke engine producing 9 horsepower. It sends power through a three-speed semi-automatic transmission with reverse, giving the Mini Truck enough capability for low-speed property driving and recreational trail use.

The chassis uses a steel frame, rugged steel wheels and coilover suspension at all four corners. That equipment gives the Mini Truck a more substantial mechanical foundation than a basic go-kart, although its modest engine output keeps the vehicle focused on manageable speeds rather than high-performance trail driving.

Two-seat interior and equipment

Massimo equips the Mini Truck with padded, water-resistant seating for two people. The driver’s seat adjusts, while an upgraded digital display provides the vehicle’s instrumentation. LED lighting is fitted at both the front and rear.

The combination of two-person seating, reverse and a 125cc engine makes the Mini Truck suited to property transportation as well as casual recreation. Buyers should still approach it like a side-by-side or dirt bike: it is designed for off-road use and does not carry the road-going equipment or paperwork needed for public streets.

Retro pickup styling

The bodywork is the Mini Truck’s defining feature. Boxy fenders, a short hood and a vintage-style grille give the go-kart the appearance of a scaled-down classic 4x4. Massimo’s design recalls the International Scout more than a current pickup, making the vehicle a nostalgia-driven alternative to conventional go-karts.

That styling places the Mini Truck among a growing group of small recreational vehicles that use familiar automotive design themes to stand out. Unlike an electric microcar such as the Fiat Topolino, however, Massimo’s product remains an off-road toy built around a gasoline engine.

Price and availability

Massimo lists the Mini Truck at a $2,999 manufacturer’s suggested retail price. Tractor Supply has advertised it at about $2,700 before fees, while early inventory shown through Massimo and Tractor Supply has sold quickly.

The Mini Truck’s combination of two seats, retro styling and low purchase price gives it a distinct place between a basic go-kart and a full-size side-by-side. Its intended audience includes adults seeking a vintage-inspired recreational vehicle and families shopping for an off-road machine for riders 16 and older.
